Banana leaves are rarely used, yet very useful addition to the blackwater aquarium. Banana leaves release a lot of Tannin acid, ata  similar rate to Catappa leaves, in fact! 
 
Our leaves are cut down into squares, so you might avoid them for the asthetic appearance, but they will still be excellent additons for their chemical properties.
